Litter evaluations happened today, with Robin Hug, Malamute breeder, and long-time working dog AKC and International judge. So exciting to see the consistency that was produced in this litter both structurally and through markings. We are super excited to announce that we will be keeping purple girl right here at Legacy Creek! See each puppy's individual page within the litter to reveal their new AKC registered names, their call names, and on Saturday, pictures of each puppy with their new families! Hard to believe these little ones are all ready to go to their new homes! We will miss them dearly, but we are so excited for the new families that get to take their puppy home, and enjoy the companionship, joy, silliness, loyalty, and affection of a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.
Puppies had their first vet checks today, they all earned an "all clear" to go to their new homes next Saturday! First shots were also given, and microchips placed. Hardly a whimper from the entire bunch! They also weathered their first car ride well! Not a carsick puppy in the bunch!
Today the puppies got to experience their first time on the Happy Feet stacking blocks! Fun times as they learned to get their balance. It will be fun watching them grow over the next 3 weeks! They have now had their nails dremelled twice, had their first experiences with solid food, and if the weather continues to warm up, we should be able to introduce them to the great outdoors this weekend!
