About Nakia

Nakia is out of our fourth litter at Legacy Creek, and the first generation out of our own previous breeding. We are excited to watch her grow up! She has a super confident personality, being the first to try any new challenge or explore any new object introduced. She is everyone's friend; so far at 6 months she hasn't met a dog or a person she doesn't like. She has a moderate energy level, and is very affectionate.

Show Career

Nakia made her show debut in Scottsbluff, NE at 6 mos old, where she was awarded a Best Puppy in breed and a Puppy Working Group 3! After almost a year off from showing, Nakia entered the ring on 8-20-22 at the Greeley Kennel Club and earned her first points, Best of Winners and a 5 point major! She followed that up with 2 more consecutive 5 point majors in the same show weekend, finishing her AKC Championship in one weekend with three 5 point majors! We are over the moon with how this girl has matured. More to follow . . .
Well, we are speechless. Nakia was entered in a 5 day cluster of the Peak to Peak Working Dog Association and the Evergreen Kennel Club just 2.5 weeks after finishing her AKC Championship. She subsequently went Best of Opposite, Best of Opposite, Best of Opposite, Select Bitch, and finished the weekend taking BEST OF BREED in a super competitive breed ring all cluster, earning 5 point majors all five days, and finishing her Grand Championship in the same style and speed as her Championship! We are excited to have Nakia join our breeding program, and are hopeful for litters from her in 2024! |
