Maverick is out of the Fancy x Zuko litter that we raised on behalf of Cornerstone, so he essentially grew up a Legacy Creek puppy. He so far is a super mellow, affectionate puppy who loves to be with his people and other dogs. This litter as a whole are super confident, outgoing puppies, and many have remarked on their stable, confident temperaments. We are excited to watch him grow up! As he has grown, that stable, sweet temperament has only grown with him. Maverick is truly one of the sweetest dogs we have ever owned, super affectionate, and everybody's friend with 2 or 4 legs. We are super excited to hopefully have him become a part of our breeding program, pending his OFA clearances in June of 2024. |
Show Career

Maverick hit the show ring in style. He earned his first points at his first shows in Laramie, WY at just 12 months old. He took the summer off due to surgery required for a eating some carpet, but came back with vengeance in the fall. He finished his CH in just 2 show weekends with all majors, at 15 months old. He is now working towards his Grand Championship, and in the shows so far for 2024, he has earned 2 Best of Breeds over nationally ranked Specials, and a Best of Opposite Sex, all at 19 months old. He has a bright show future ahead of him! |
