"Boozer"
CH Legacy Creek's Hawk's Eye 3/1/2017-9/3/2021 Passed away way too young. Thankfully we have some of his puppies. In the words of his owners: An Angel gained their wings today. The look in his eyes was all he had to say. We would have loved to have more time to love But God decided he needed a good boy to go up above. We will miss that greeting face at the door All the water on the floor you managed to pour The sound of those big paws and barking bar-oos Our home was a home when we were with you. You were truly our pride and joy for all these 4 short years Mom and dad are heartbroken but it's time to wipe away these tears We are so thankful for what you brought into our lives each and every day Please hug your four legged babies today Hooch was blessed to have met you on Father's Day We were blessed to have you everyday. |

"Ziva"
GCH CH Houha's Leavin a Legacy in Storm's Wake CGCU 11/19/2015- 2/14/2023 Ziva was one in a million. She exuded sweetness from the day she joined our home. She came from a breeder whose lines we had seen and admired at our first Swissy national as new hopeful breeders in 2015. She was our first AKC Grand Champion. Sadly, she developed pyometra right after her first breeding, and had to be emergently spayed. However, she had won a forever place in our hearts and home despite not being able to be a part of our breeding program. She became our middle son's unofficial therapy dog, helping cope with the anxiety that comes with autism. He feels her loss more than any of us. She was one of those dogs who could never quite get close enough to you when she snuggled. She had the softest fur, especially on her beautiful white chest. A favorite of visitors and our family, and a fun "aunt" to our future litters. Her favorite game with young puppies was to play "squeak a pup"- she would gently mouth them until they vocalized a small squeak, release them, then she would play bow and find another "victim." She left a terrible hole in all of our hearts with her passing. |
