Why we do what we do. . .

Some reflections following yet another wonderful family interview. When folks ask us why we breed dogs, two common answers come forward: 1) We love this breed and want to contribute to it’s existence and improvement; and 2) we always want to have a houseful of quality dogs of this breed. So we breed for ourselves and the breed. However, in the short time we have been breeders, much of the joy of getting our breeding program off the ground has in fact come from meeting the other amazing people and families that are drawn to this breed, and in turn providing them with quality Swissies to love and enjoy. We are so privileged and thrilled with the families we have found thus far who have joined the Legacy Creek family, and everytime I meet another amazing family, I am so excited to share the joy and privilege of Swissy ownership with them! So thank you to our amazing puppy homes, and all of those whom we have yet to meet!
